|This is a huge hit with my family.
1-2 pound chuck roast (can be just about any cut or size) into the crock
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups peeled skinned potatoes, cut up
2 cups peeled carrots
(frozen vegetables can be substituted for carrots and potatoes
Place chuck roast in the crock pot. Add soup mix and condensed soup.
Cook on low for 2-4 hours.
Add potatoes and carrota and cook on low for 2-4 hours more.
If you make this before you go to work and aren't there to add in the potatoes
and carrots, add the potatoes when you start the pot roast, peel them,
but don;t cut them up. This way they will not disintegrate in the crock
pot. Use canned or frozen carrots, heat them up and add to the mixture
about 15 mintues before serving.
